The quality standards of our products
are regularly checked according to a
determined testing schedule. Due to
the high speeds involved the online
inspection systems select according
to go/no go criteria. In the laboratory,
by chemical and physical analysis,
measurable values are taken,
documented and analysed statistically. |
The metal as raw material is
checked for hardness, thickness and
resistance to corrosion. Varnishes and
printing inks for their resistance to
dusting and the sealing compounds
for their inner pressure and taste.
Innovative raw materials or products
from new suppliers are only approved
and listed after successfully passing
a series of tests. |
The crown corks themselves are
visually inspected and geometrically. All
testing equipment and instruments are
regularly calibrated. Since 1995 our
entire quality management system
is successfully certified in accordance
with ISO 9001.
